	"We Enlarged Our Conceptions"

	They have become well-known to the market by their treatment conceptions with special devices, products and enzymes. Now, the manufactures of microdermabrasion devices have further developed their techniques by means of ultrasound.
	BEAUTY FORUM talked to Mrs. Dr. med. Krystyna Komender-Spira, managing director of SKIN JET, about the reasons of this development.

	*BEAUTY FORUM: Surely, you are very proud of the result which you reached until today. Where is the basis of your success?*
	Dr. med. Krystyna Komender-Spira: We are surely proud of our success but only because of our success conceptions. Also we are proud of our German quality production. In order to have a better control about our products we do not give anything into somebody's hand, even if we do have to calculate with higher production costs. We are working with the motto: "German precision work stands for techniques and is conscientious in treatment".
	*What did you induce to equip your microdermabrasion devices with ultrasound?*
	As a cosmetologist my professional qualification does not allow that the skin will only be treated superficially. I am going much more deeper into the skin and in order to reach a perfect result; the ultrasonic method serves for this effect. According to the motto: "First freeing the skin and then acting."
	*What does this motto mean? "First freeing the skin and then acting"?*
	"First freeing the skin" means to open the skin and to remove dead skin cells in order to reach a better and deeper absorption of active substances by means of microdermabrasion. "Acting" means the working in of special active substances until the basal layer of the epidermis is reached or even deeper by means of ultrasound.
	*Your new devices (microdermabrasion & ultrasound) made you very successful. Do you think that always a microdermabrasion has to be carried out before an ultrasound treatment can follow?*
	No, but by the microdermabrasion method the skin is better prepared. Of course, only the ultrasonic treatment is sufficient enough to lead the active substances into the deeper skin layers - provided that a special developed preparation will be used.
	*What does you make so much enthusiastic about the working method with ultrasound?*
	If it deals with qualitative good ultrasonic devices you will find positive and manifold functions. Until now I do not know any negative reactions to the skin. By means of its thermical, chemical and mechnical effects the ultrasound activates and stimulates all biochemical as well as the physiological processes in the skin and the cells. Ultrasound serves for an intensive, intra- and extra-cellular vibration massage. Persons who talk about ultrasonic in a negative way have either no sufficient knowledge or they are not informed correctly.
	*Which parameters do your devices represent?*
	We manufacture devices with a frequency of 1MHz and they work with impulse sound. For this reason the energy supply is optimal granted by means of small groups of impulses without any remains and overheating. Beside of the frequency the power of 0,2 Watt/cm² becomes absolutely necessary for good results.
	*What kind of success did you reach with your new device?*
	We reached results of a betterment of the skin surface by 49,6 %. Of course, the effects of ultrasound are only showing one aspect of the treatment. There is a considerable difference what kind of active substances will be used which are to be supplied to the cells of the basal layer. I am working with enzymes which are suitable and selected for the functions of ultrasound. It is possible to control by means of enzymes certain physiological processes in the cells and also for this reason in the skin. Due to the enzymes I have gained very fast treatment success. A clinical test proved the unique result in between 4 weeks and 8 treatments.
	*Are you ready to tell us how the enzymes which are worked into the skin by means of ultrasound are effecting the skin?*
	If you know the reactions of enzymes you will realize that it was not an easy way to improve the different problems of the skin. The treatment methods are based on the different types of well selected enzymes which afterwards are worked deeply into the skin by means of ultrasound. We control with this method the regeneration process in the basal layer and the renewal of cells as well as the preservation of the cell matrix. In this way special treatment methods have been developed:
	Tightening, smoothing of the skin Treatment of the eye region After sun treatment Acne-scar treatment as well as Special anti-pigment treatment
	All of these successful treatments have been analyzed and evaluated in Germany and also in America by the SKIN JET-research team.
	*In your lectures you are always reporting of the importance of the transfer method. Could you please explain this fact more exactly?*
	Not only the qualitative good device is important for the treatment success but also the transfer gel. Without an excellent transfer gel the energy can not be transferred. The gel used by us has to protect the skin from energy and in another way the active substances have to be transported very deeply into the skin. Well-selected transfer lotions are absolutely necessary and only with this method you are able to reach optimal results of treatment.
	*How do you connect your name "JET" with these methods?*
	"JET"-power stands for the cells and for the skin - like power enzymes, power ultrasound. But "JET" means concerning my researches much more faster reactions in the skin and amazing results.
	*How fast do your treatment results become visible?*
	The treatment results with enzymes are already positive visible after few minutes. Especially the positive feeling of the treated person is leading to a success of the cosmetician.
	*How do you evaluate the treatments with the ultrasonic method?*
	Always positive, successful and profitable. The duration of one treatment amounts to only 30 minutes including the peeling process. The treatment methods belong to the exclusive price range. The work is very comfortable. The used methods are dedicated to modern persons who are not able to spend very much time. The consumer expects from the cosmetician a fast and visible success. Every person, every problem will find a place within these treatment conceptions.
